Pros

The paycheck did not bounce.

Cons

I was hired as a full time Customer Service Representative. During the hiring orientation we were told that we were hired for a certain project but not to worry since they had plenty of work once that project was done. I purchased a new computer, phone, headphones etc to do my new job. I also had a landline installed. Once training was started they started back pedaling. Then it was we might have work and if you do a good job you will be kept on. I was told to sign off a couple of hours before my last scheduled shift and have not heard from them since. I have tried contacting other employees in management and recruiting as to what was going on and no response was received. If you have all the equipment required and don't mind a temporary job go ahead. If you expect anything else you will end up feeling used.

Pros

Team lead was pretty awesome as were coworkers, incentives for making enrollments were pretty decent as well. Overall environment was great until the "CLEAN DESK" rules came into play. Training was fun up to a certain point.

Cons

Extremely strict attendance - their time clock, e-start, dinged you for even 1 min late with 1/4 of a point for attendance. Job is advertised as CUSTOMER SERVICE on job sites and then you get into training only to find out it's a SALES position. Commissions are very minimal, sales quotas and goals are ridiculously high. Priority is more often given to NOT MISSING OPPORTUNITIES TO SELL THINGS PEOPLE DO NOT NEED WHEN THEY ARE ONLY CALLING TO ASK A QUESTION ABOUT THEIR PLAN, and to EMAIL CAPTURE FOR MARKETING PURPOSES. Also, they micromanage employees to the extreme. Daily "coachings" consisted of being berated for all that you do wrong and absolutely NO PRAISE for what you're doing right, and then being told that enrollments and such don't matter as much as email caps and missed opportunities. Also, they keep SUBJECTIVE files on each agent, making horrible judgments on how agents handle calls and they also talk smack about people on a daily basis when they are not around. Training does not reflect actual job on the floor, even with the practice period aka SPA that they use to train agents directly on the job.

Pros

Working from home not much else is a pro

Cons

I contract with a separate work from home company for almost 5 years and I am a team lead or supervisor if you will.. I had my first day of training and the 2 instructors was unorganized called everyone names because everyone was basically confused because there was no clear instructions on what we was doing one instructor said one thing the other said another..the main instructor was caughing and burping not muting her mic..she was ordering her pizza while she was clocked in working and supposed to be instructing the helper instructor was on pills or drunk she was slurring her speech bad the session was not recorded..they was both very condescending to everyone rather than helpful...I have never seen anyone at our company I contract for act near anything like that!! after working one day with this company I greatly appreciate EVEN MORE the company I have contracted with for 5 years we are way more professional and postive and want to help people and not degrade people.. concentrix could use some upper management training skills horrible experience with this company thus far.
