Pros

Knew exactly when the schedule was, quarterly/on your birthday you could shop your own store,

Cons

On your feet all day and shove quotas down your throat. Minimum wage and you want people to work harder? When there's no motivation to do more than the bare minimum?

Good Starter Job

Pros

Good people and usually a good atmosphere. I liked my job and I always had my breaks and lunches on time.

Cons

Management often pushes to raise prices and eventually wastes more products in the long run. People come looking for deals and will buy more if the prices are lower when a used dirty teapot is 4.99 it will get thrown out at the end of the week when it's not bought. Making more work for employees and a less productive store with a larger carbon footprint.
