Pros

The mission. The business experience. The operations experience. What you can learn by paying attention to day-to-day operations of the company.

Cons

Poor pay. Unflexible schedules. Uncooperative management. Disproportionate African American employment. Little room for advancement. Promotions/Raises only happen on a yearly basis.

The mission is to be commended. Organization does a tremendous amount of good in the community. Salaries are competitive and benefits are good.

Cons

While the organization encourages growth and innovation, Change often happens slowly.

Pros

stands behind mission to help community, everybody very friendly,

Cons

long hours, stores are filthy- people running goodwill think just because it's a thrift store they don't have to be clean (?), no set schedule, poor hiring and not being honest in interviewing (see below) leads to high turn-over, all stores run however the mgr feels- no price structure- made customers upset and confused
