Pros

Benefits are good especially the insurance. Vacation is average. Some of the old school folks are extremely nice.

Cons

Unequal inclement weather policy - if you have a laptop you can work from home, if you don't, you can risk your life. To be successful, VPs, directors and managers are expected to worship C-level and follow blindly and most do. C-level tends to be very snobbish and expects adoration as there are many vanity projects. The company's celebration included executives handing out $20 to employees who entertained them during the party. Professional adults acting silly to get $20. The message: You are here for our entertainment. There were no VPs, directors or managers to stand up and say this is a bad idea. Low morale. I believe my department head would do anything asked of them no matter how degrading. Be ready to conform - don't have different ideas. 24/7 work expectation without compensation to match. Associates told to use back entrance all the time.

Mismanagement led to loss of talent

Pros

There are interesting projects to work on.

Cons

Many of the best and most talented people have left the company. This is a result of severely broken project management since the New Mountain Capital takeover. Deadlines are dictated by the CIO or by salespeople. Essentially planning by random date. This leads to overtime burnout and talent loss. Management insults or fires people for not hitting unrealistic dates. Good employees look around, see this happening, and leave.

Pros

Good pay and PTO offered.

Cons

The CFO sets a stage for his high and mid level managers for back-biting, blaming other/scapegoats,, etc. it is run with horrible ethics and no integrity. His commander type attitude does not allow for errors, mo matter how small or if that persons fault. They state they encourage innovation and thus lack of project success is accepted as it is worth the try, but that is a bold lie. They will make up reasons to write people up if they want them out due to salary, etc. Ageism is very real here. One month you are gold, next you are not because they have hired the CFO’s old friend and they need to cut heads. The finance departments are completely dysfunctional due to the scare tactics used. Everyone is afraid to make any kind of move or decision. As long as the CFO is there it will not change. I’m not sure that it doesn’t start with the CEO. but couldn’t say for sure. Work/life balance is nonexistent
