Pros

No spending on gas and no traffic hassle

Cons

Run away! It is slavery! !!Management doesn’t care about employees at all, fooling them around with their disgusting rules and changes. Cut interpreters ‘pay checks and increase the workload! We barely have time to take a breath !They absolutely don’t care . Cheap pay, no benefits, sweatshop slavery! Exploiting the employees as much as they can ! I have never worked for any one who can make their employees so grievous and angry !!! It is a hell!!!

Pros

Work at home on phone but is mandatorily switching everyone to video calls as well; at such time, the only real benefit of rolling off the bed and getting on calls will be gone in the next few months. Calls from a variety of sources so can be interesting.

Cons

Lots of changes in the last 6 months of 2016, therefore, old reviews are no longer valid. The work schedule is not flexible. Once a schedule is set, you cannot change it without formal approval from the company. Company is not willing to work with people though this was one of the big draws. New and even some old employees are being switched to $13 per hour straight pay with the very minimum labor benefits as required by law. This means, no extra pay for holiday work (yes, holidays like Xmas is just another work day - do not get any national holiday off.) No paid vacation time at all; only 40 hours of Unpaid Time Off per yet. There is 401(k) but no company match. You could get health plan but not the best one so some might do better on monthly premium with Obamacare. Some languages, Russian, Chinese, get very busy so there is no down time during the work hours at call. If you add all these together, the pay is below minimum wage in some states! Besides the 6 hours of paid training before starting work, any other work training is being done in non-work hours - meaning they ain't paying you to train you to work for them. These trainings are not compulsory so that is their excuse.

Pros

I can think of nothing. Probably easy to get in since quality is not valued much here.

Cons

So many, here are a few to start with: - Treat employees with no respect and appreciation whatsoever - Keep reducing your rate, everything is non-negotiable, take it or leave it - Signing new clients on too fast without hiring and training more interpreter - My calls are always back to back, hours and hours of constant talking without a break, please note that you will most likely not have a chilled day with few calls, except for Christmas - No paid leave, almost non existent health benefits, even non paid leave is very very limited, 10 days a year, please not, it's unpaid leave and they still make it hard for you to take them - System always break down a lot, make the job even more stressful than it already is - They squeezed and squeezed every thing they can out of employee. I imagine their principle would be "Money is the most important thing to our organization - Some people are lucky to be contractors, I think they stopped hiring contractors. But they keep reducing the rates and push all the call to employees, until all of us are busy then the calls flow to contractors (to save money of course) There are so many more things, I just can't list them all. My whole life I have never worked for an organization that operate with mainly profit in mind. I feel mistreated and taken advantage of. My goal is just to stay until I have more experience and leave as soon as I can. If you have other options, do not join them. Even though this will make things harder for us, we will keep being understaffed and exploited but I want to be honest and help people from making mistakes.
