Pros

A sense of accomplishment after helping people out.

Cons

They don't pay nowhere near enough to cover for the odd hours, emotional and cognitive toll of handling tough calls. Outsourcing scheduling and workforce management keeps them out of reach and out of touch.

Pros

Ability to work from home. Opportunity to help people and have an impact. Regular chances for overtime hours.

Cons

Often on back-to-back-to-back calls. Not a lot of room for career progression as an interpreter. Managers are basically just supervisors and don't take much interest in you outside of what you can do for them.

You get to work at home. Not costly to start the job.

Cons

Noise sensitive. They control your call volume. And continuously working for your pay cut. No future.
