Pros

just barely beats trying to live off of unemployment benefits!

Cons

Customer service pay is $10.00/hr; no raises ever; no bonuses for strong performance. healthcare benefits are ridiculously expensive, based on a $20,800 annual pay. Company expects perfect performance and attendance for a ridiculously low wage; doesn't care about employee morale at all, has subjected two departments of employees to unsafe conditions that would NEVER have passed muster with OSHA or Tempe Fire Department. When a client company signs on with Teletech, they should understand that the bulk of their money goes to executive pay - and what's left over goes to us peons. A Truly DISGUSTING company.

Your job is always on the line

Pros

It is great working from home and the pay is not bad. When you are in a "permanent" role, you are salaried. This has its pros and cons but mostly pros. If you are on a good project and have good management with reasonable deliverables, and are on a project with good hours it can be a dream. Key work-IF.

Cons

Depending on the project/hours/manager/client/deliverables for that project it can be a nightmare. Your job is ALWAYS on the line. It does not matter how long you are have been with the company, if they need to ramp down then you are basically fired unless you can get hired on another project. If you in a leadership role then you have to apply and hope to get an interview for the opportunity to work at that project. If they cant find you a position then you are fired. Once we had a project ramp down right in the middle of it and over 200 agents were fired and a bunch of team leads and a manager. You live your life on edge knowing that at any minute you could lose your job, there is no sense of job security.

Pros

Nothing. They set you up for failure

Cons

Since the beginning it was unorganized. The “training” was horrible. We weren’t taught anything because they forced a new trainer on us a week into it, that didn’t know what she was doing. Then later fired her for not doing a good job. We had to teach ourselves, so when we got into nesting we were taking live calls by ourselves with little to no help. On top of that we never took a real call or was taught how to take one. After doing my best with what I was given, they ended up firing me because literally ONE member gave me a bad survey. Saying I didn’t pass nesting because my survey score was too low. Again it was only one survey I got, of course it would be low I had no idea what I was doing. I wasn’t the only person they let go either. Moral of the story, don’t work here. There’s been multiple cases like this from hundreds of former associates if your looking for work go directly to the company. Don’t get contracted through Ttec.
