Pros

This really depends on the type of job you are applying for. If you are working in IT there are opportunities to learn new technologies and skills that can benefit you in your future career.

Cons

orking in IT there is no life/work balance at all. Working overtime isn't an occassional occurance and getting paged almost every night while you are in bed sleeping isn't uncommon. It is an extremely stressful company to work for and their compensation practices are not fair. Being promoted doesn't ensure that you will get much or any salary increase. Even if you are an outstanding employee others doing the same job can be making an entire pay grade higher than you. The bonus structure for IT was a joke at least for those of us who were not working out of the corporate headquarters in Denver. We were frequently understaffed and a yearly reduction in workforce was quite common and did nothing to help improve the employee morale.

Pros

From an IT perspective, (a common TeleTech phrase) TeleTech is a fast paced, under powered, and over committed company. As such, it provides a great environment for highly self-motivated and ambitious individuals who are early in their career looking to learn as much as possible as quickly as possible. There are a variety of technologies employed so you can increase both your depth and breadth of knowledge in core technology products. It's also a favorable environment for those who "work well under stress." If you can survive TeleTech, you can thrive anywhere.

Cons

There is no concept of a work/life balance. Everybody in IT is on call for some level of escelation 24/7. Personally, I spent many stretches of months where I worked 70+ hours per week. If you have a spouse or children, this becomes an increasingly important issue while management typically cared increasingly less. It was not uncommon to see co-workers in their offices crying because of the high amount of stress. The joys and pains of working at TeleTech depend very much on your immediate manager. I've had managers who worked very hard with upper management to bring about changes while most managers I've had rolled over and did what was easiest for themselves. Aside from that, there seemed to a lay off program at least once per year. And, in some instances, people who did not see eye to eye with their manager (not performance issues) would be terminated under the guise of these lay offs. This, in turn, made more work for those who were left since the position could not legally be filled for some time.

Pros

work at eloyalty is flexible there is an okay oppurtunity for career growth Most managers are quite nice to their employees

Cons

eloyalty is a losing company. They have never made any profits The cutbacks have been killing employee morale. They are getting rid of consultants which are the main sources of income for Behavrioral Analytics There have been no salary raises for the last 2 years and it was a stab in the throat when they put the salary and bonus into stock options. The stock has plummetted from $8 to $2 since the stock offering. They took away employees 401k contribution which further lowers employee morale. Lots of high level consultants are bailing from the company which shows weakness in employee faith
