Pros

Great location - at least for me :) free food

Cons

well they seem to have fired the best leader i have worked for in my long career and he was really the only reason i and many others were sticking around... poor upper leadership zero movement or growth i am in the second half of my career so to say i have been around the block a bit is an understatement and i can see a failing office when i see one - with the recent leader moved out i can assure you this is not the place you want to work. yes this is a real problem as i have been in sales my whole career and drugs just comes with the territory but wow... they take it to a new level here to many young people doing drugs and acting like children in the work place new management is a joke unless you like a call center

Thank you for your review. Our company is very much something special. The concerns you raise are significant and very serious. Please reach out to me directly to discuss so you can shed some light on the challenges we do not currently see with our Denver sales team. Thank you again for the review and I look forward to hearing more about your experience. Steve Capezza - Vice President, Premier Agent Sales

Pros

great views, free food, fun people

Cons

the job is crazy hard. every real estate agent you call has heard of/used zillow in the past and know exactly why they don't want to try again or why they haven't tried already. it gets really old trying to talk people into a product they dont want

Thanks for giving us your feedback regarding your experience in Inside Sales at Zillow. I would say that while most agents have heard of Zillow, the vast majority of agents we call have not advertised on Zillow previously. We do face challenging objections from agents around budget and concerns about the ROI of advertising online - Fortunately, we have the top performing platform that generates more business for more real estate agents/brokers than any other, and this resonates with agents we engage. I wish you success in your next role. Doug Slotkin VP, Local Ad Sales

Pros

So the culture, benefits package, commission structure perks are great. A co-worker put it best "You get to be yourself here". If anyone gets me going about my job I usually can't stop talking for 20 minutes. Most people eventually respond with "It almost sounds like you're making it up". The management treats the employees with respect and have all done your job before, so the advice/help/coaching all comes from experience and they are super supportive. This place is truly amazing and you do get to be a part of a company that is consistently breaking records and winning month after month. The culture values doing the right thing, enriching the lives of the employees and clients we work with and nobody (Sales or management) is above this "no jerks, support your coworkers" culture all the way up to the top.

Cons

This job isn't for everybody. The people who shine are VERY competitive and driven, and put 100% into their work EVERY day. You have to really WANT this to be here. You don't have to put in more than 40-50 hours, but you do need to work HARD and keep a cheetah pace. If you want the payoff, you need to spend all your time on the phone. (It's like they expect you to work hard to make a lot of money, what a concept right?!?) This is a DREAM job if you are willing to put in the work, but there are no shortcuts to being successful in this position and people who can't stay focused on the long term career picture and get stuck in the day to day grind may find it difficult to keep pace.
