Pros

getting paid every 2 weeks is a positive aspect, suppose thats keeps more staff for longer, but nothing else positive to write here

Cons

Belfast Linehall - lack of management support and positive encouragement. its a tough job, but you know that when you apply. its a call centre afterall, but what you really need is a positive work culture and a happy positive vibe around you while youre working and, sometimes, taking grief. a few nice words of encouragement are all thats needed - not the continual 'taken for granted' attitude of the TLs and senior staff. Everyone moans about the shifts in there - so if you don't enjoy the company of the Jeremy Kyle audience, then Firstsource is NOT for you. 'Moaners R Us' it should be called.

Pros

It's a decent pay to start with no experience. No weekends. 8-5 job. Holidays off.

Cons

*The WorkPlace is very unprofessional...(feel like I am working for a fashion show with alot of skin showing and cleavages, on the males: pants are below the appropriate level, shorts are worn with tank tops), that is a no no for professional workplaces. *The management is very disrespectful and lack of knowledge. *Even though we work a little extra after your eight hours, they do not pay you the extra minutes. You end up losing them. *There training is below the average level. You'll be okay if you have background experiences, if not you will be very lost with no one to turn to. *The management is very unfair with there team. The team is what's making the big bucks! *In the office I work for, a high turnover of employees. Employees do not last there no more than 3-4 months due to lack of training, unprofessionalism and very poor management. *The environment is poorly describable with chewed up seats, old boxed monitors, bad earphones, etc... the company has to keep up with the technology, make the employees more comfortable. We seat all day and work with computers all day along with phone use. They are a multi-million dollar company...spare a little to your offices. * The health benefits are a killer...two hundred dollars a month for just health insurance on a full time employees salary... very uncalled for. I've never worked in a job that charges way too much on health insurance. *There are no sick days given, I mean none. They work under a point system, if you call in sick it is a point, so to come down to it, you are not entitled to sick days because they throw you points for just calling out sick...everything is points, if your tardy, if you leave early, if you come late, if you call out sick...it is crazy... and worst of all, no salary raises. It seems that the Manager gets a budget, so it depends on the manager to approve for raises, following that, the Manager keeps the rest of her budget to herself in her pocket...very very unfair... I have never worked at a company so bad as this one...I am already seeking elsewhere. A company that appreciates there employees...
