Pros

Great manager; helpful and fun coworkers; helps people with no experience/disabilities/criminal records get a foot in the door

Cons

Very busy/aggressive customers on sale days; lots of transactions required a manager to open the drawer, check high bills, etc; you aren't allowed to shop at the store you work at. After speaking with a friend who worked at a Goodwill in Minnesota, I learned that they are managed very differently from state to state - she did not have to deal with some of the same restrictions that I did (ie. shopping at the store you work at) and was even paid higher hourly, even though the minimum wage is lower in MN.

Pros

Good place to work in. But if working full time its hard to have a good work/life balance.

Cons

people look down on you when they learn where you work.
