Pros

Working with the community, and helping the people living within achieve a level of normalcy. Working with Special Needs is an amazing feeling.

Cons

The workload literally tripled within two months time. No guidance, you are completely on your own, though the supervisors say otherwise. If you can't handle manual labor do not apply. I felt as though I was lied to, the non-profit atmosphere they painted washed away rather quickly once Boston took over. They began running it as though it were a Walmart or Holister. It failed every expectation they put in my head that it would be. I am so disappointed.

bad pay,over worked, bad management! 2 managers there that talk bad about everyone, they hire new people to drive them away! the supervisor on the other hand is a lovely woman,as some supervisor, she should be the one to be management, she treats everyone with respect

Pros

Great mission. Good location. So many people get fired/quit, you have a lot of opportunities for promotion.

Cons

The professionalism of the staff ebbs and flows. There is a tremendous amount of employee “churn”. I was there for 4 months, 6 people either quit or got fired. In the 2 months that followed my departure, 6 more people either quit or got fired. The constant churn ruins morale and makes it difficult to do anything but watch your back.
