Pros

Goodwill is a nonprofit serving the community in workforce development by helping people find and train for jobs and upskill. We provide training like the Virtual Reality Forklift Driver training and other job certification training. We also strive to cultivate an excellent work culture for our 800+ employees.

Cons

We, like most nonprofits, are always challenged by the expanding scope of community needs and are always seeking ways to fund the mission.

Pros

Above minimum wage pay and they hire disabled people as well as recovering addicts and felons. Good for a second chance.

Cons

I think the amount of work vs the pay doesn’t match up and the higher ups lack empathy or compassion. The people who tag clothes and wares get bonuses but nobody else does AKA cashier and store associates.

Pros

Good mission of helping others

Cons

No culture. Zero flexibility. No support of family and especially moms. Zero maternity or paternity pay. Benefits are lacking. Huge turnover.
