      Pros

      I have worked for Goodwill for about 2 years now and there are a lot of friendly people and good managers.

      Cons

      Lousy Pay, I have co-workers who make only a few more cents then me and its not fair to them or me.

      Some of the best reasons to work at a Goodwill is because it is a community business.

      The downside is that as regular customer the store never changes.

      Pros

      Some staff can receive promotions. So many jobs available!

      Cons

      Turnover is huge. The CEO of our organization is aloof (not Jim Gibbons, our local organization). Pays more attention to the retail end of things unless it's time for the cameras to roll. He doesn't really pay attention to staff ideas, unless it's upper management. The benefits are poor. Several of the staff in social services are so worn out when they leave it's really sad. They pour their heart and soul into their work and they are not appreciated for the work they do.
