Pros

Great community, easy to learn, has great start ups for those who have trouble entering the work force.

Cons

Sometimes you may have to figure things out as you go with lack of formal training. Management and leadership can be hot or miss depending on location. Store can feel cheap.

Pros

It gives second chance employment for those with less than sparking backgrounds and special needs

Cons

▪︎It's a greedy and misleading company in whole. The quotas that are humanly impossible. Even the long standing employees (17yrs) doesn't make the quota. ▪︎The manager at the one I worked at lied all the time to the employees and didn't take accountability for any of her mistakes. ▪︎ All the donations are priced by employees with no real training on quality, value or market price of things and the prices are decided willingly so the same two things can be priced totally different. ▪︎The benefits for suck, I was paying $300+ biweekly and it hardly covered meds. ▪︎ The training style reminds me of my dad... Non existent.

Pros

While I didn't like the job, the company's mission is admirable; the customers (at least at my store) were by and large terrific.

Cons

The job is pure dung -- immature/inexperienced management, very poor salaries, mgt micromanagement via store security cams, everything's reactive, no/minimal training, assist mgrs must work 50'ish hrs a week (mgrs 60 +), cliquish employees, inefficient processes, backroom OSHA violations a'plenty, and well over 100% turnover should tell you everything you need to know.

Pros

There really isn't any. Avoid at all costs.

Cons

Management is extremely poor, managers are rude and very impatient, lack of proper training. I wasn't told when my break was on my first day and was forced to work for TEN+ hours on a closing shift with NO break. My "training" was just to follow around a random employee and see what they do. I'm not even kidding.
