Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. It is unfortunate that your experience with us is not meeting your expectations. We recognize the importance of fair compensation and understand your concerns about pay. While the rates charged to clients reflect the costs of providing a comprehensive interpreting service, including technology, training, and operational support, we acknowledge interpreters should feel valued and fairly compensated for their critical work. We are continuously evaluating our compensation structure to stay competitive and align with the expertise and professionalism required in this role. If you'd like to share more about your experience reach out to us directly at interpretercommunications@languageline.com.

Pros

You work from home. Company is open to whatever schedule you want to work as long as it meets the needs of the company. You gain experience in different fields like car insurance, pharmacy, banks, health insurance, utility companies etc.

Cons

Calls are nonstop, you get 14 seconds in between calls, calls are answered automatically so if you need to report a call you have to do it within those 14 second. There are no raises when they tried giving us a raise they tried to do so in a form of a bonus. When we all raised our concern they took back those tiers and just gave everyone $1 across the board. Company wants you to work additional hours, but your check comes short. When you report the shortage you have to do payroll department job and send proof of hours worked and what you actually got paid. You have no one to reach out to in the moment if something comes up with a call. You literally have to submit a report request for everything! Benefits are terrible and it’s only for full time employees. You have to clock out to use the restroom or drink water.

Awful place

Pros

Nothing to say that is good.

Cons

This is literally the worst job I have ever had. The Implementation leaders do not care about you. They will expect you to work 12 plus hours a day and sometimes without even taking a lunch. This company should be ashamed of themselves. They do not care about the implementation specialists at all. They also expect you to work and answer them 24/7 whether it is 9pm at night or 2am in the morning. The people in charge do not know how to run an implementation at all. They wait last minute to do everything, and it is super frustrating. Also, they never update a spreadsheet before you go into a hospital, and you are in there blind and guiding yourself around. People in leadership need to demand more to get things done or it will be the same stupid process they already have. WHICH IS NOT BENEFICIAL AT ALL! FIGURE IT OUT!!!! THAT IS WHY PEOPLE KEEP LEAVING THIS PLACEEEEEE!!!!!!
