Pros

Convenient as you work from home.

Cons

They never properly train you enough to handle Diagnosis, Prognosis in Doctor's offices, and hospitals. They never provide additional training for legal settings. they never increase my salary during my 3 years. They only give you 15 minutes break during 4-hour shifts so it's 2 hours of back-to-back non-stop calls. Your voice hurts so much after each day. Pay is very minimal.

Pros

WFH, Device provided, Good training at beginning(one month) if you have no experience, but that is the only honeymoon period, everthing afterward was a nightmare.

Cons

Pay is definitly horrible, always 30% if not more lower than industry standard. No holiday off, if you work on holiday, no holiday pay either. No PTO, only unpaid time off, which is even hard to get approved because they are always short staffed. You get two 15mins breaks and 30mins lunch, anything other than that, they deduct from your pay check, you have to either control your bladder to fall right in the break time; or you have to run to bathroom, which affect your adherence, and they always deduct more minutes when you are logged out to use the bathroom. Calls for busy languages like Spanish and Mandarin are back to back, you only get 15s between calls, but they expect you to make call reports for every situation happened. You could be dealing with delivering death message to people on one phone call and then in 15s you have to report everything and pull youself together to take the next phone call. When problem arise, you asked for support, management cannot care less about your wellbeing but only care about the customer no matter how rude or unreasonable they can be, They always give you script answers but not really answer your question at individual level. That is the easiest job I have ever seen as manager being remotely copy & paste standarized answer to every question even though it does not help solving the problem at all. No raise or growth opportunity, but they every so often require you to do more, they promote you from L3 to L4 medical and then to L5 All call interpreter, but you still get the same pay with more responsibility. Insurance is like non-existense, its coverage always ashame me when I go to Dr.'s office. They don't have any drug coverage but instead a discount program where you can basically get better discount with other free program. WORST thing is they hide information from you, so they can pay as little as they can get away with(legal issues).

Pros

I would not exaggerate in saying there is none

Cons

-low pay -lack of respect or even basic communication -absurd workloads at times, no pacing or consistency -no commitment in terms of hours and calls, meaning you have no stable pay, the other person talking about flipping burgers is right, you make more and get stable hours.
