Pros

Pays on time, well managed, has clear guidelines,wonderful training and there is always someone to help if help is needed.I love working with Languageline Solutions and couldn't be more pleased with my experience with this company.

Cons

Can not work outside of the US

Pros

They have alot of training. They want all interpreters to continue training to highest level-L5 and possibly as a Supervisor. I think its a great place to start as an Interpreter.

Cons

They are very strict with your scheduled shift. You can't end your shift until you finish your last call even if its past your scheduled end time.

Pros

We can work from home. If you are an interpreter professional, this is a great place to sharpen your skills. Very flexible when you need some days or weeks or even months off from work. Relatively organized training and supervision. Company provides you with a computer and earphone, but you can't even use Google in that computer. Purely just for work.

Cons

Hour rate is way too low for such high intensity and high skill work. No pay raise even after 5 years. It has never raised a cent since the first day being there. No sick pay. No pension contributions. They pay almost the same whether you have decades of interpretation and translation experience with many professional certificates as those who just enter into the market. Not fair for interpretation professionals with certificates.

Cons

The Paid too low. They constantly send you extra documents and expect you to spend more time on self training without paying.

Good training section and the trainer was excellent.

Cons

Nothing really bad, just be careful of interpreting the words.

Pros

They have pretty decent training program.

Cons

Back to back call flows are crazy. Employees are exposed to emergency situations under high pressure. But there are no treatment or after care support for interpreter’s mental care.
