Pros

No pro besides it was a job..

Cons

Management has a wolf pack mentality and bully the "pee-ons." Very unprofessional and unorganized management that would shoo you away like a fly with their hand because they are too busy to even open their mouth and speak to me like a person. I started this job when I was 20, my first real adult job and I started with high hopes. Even though I exceeded and liked the actual job tasks at hand. This place broke my spirit over the course of 4 years of loyalty, hard work, and dedication. Being talked to in a condescending way and bullied by the person i was to go to for help in that exact matter. So many reports to corporate...they cover it all up. Manager put her hands on me the day I quit. Never will I work for her or the company that didn't provide me with a stable working environment.

Pros

Working for a chat center is a great thing for people that are a little on the shy side, and working for Verizon is great. As with any call center your get hired quickly. The training is very good too.

Cons

It is impossible to take two chats with complicated billing issues at the same time, and give great customer service. You just never get used to it, and while it is fun and exciting for some, for me I couldn't stop focusing on the fact that I was keeping people for an hour when they had a question that should have only taken 15 minutes.
