Decent Pay, but not the most fun work, not for the allergic!!!!

decent pay, $1.50 above minimum wage.

Cons

HORRIBLE allergy breakouts. Skin rashes and puffy eyes/runny nose. If you are allergic to pet dander or must this is not the place for you. Very painful repetitive work. A lot of standing. Quotas to reach or you will be written up. Breaks are paid but you cant leave the building. You have to fend for yourself with everything. Get your own clothes. Tote your own clothes to the compactor. And fight with other employees for supplies like hangers and tagging guns which some people stash. Which makes it very hard to reach your quota in a realistic time frame. You have to have your bag checked EVERY TIME you leave the building. If no one responds to the page and comes to the front, you could have up to 10 minutes knocked off your lunch and nothing you can do about it.

Mission associated with the company is great. Does a lot to give back to the community. Great Causes and some great people.

Cons

salary is very low, benefits are pretty bad. Too much work and not enough people to complete it effieciently, Poor company culture

Pros

Goodwill offers a chace for many people to work that most employers don't. Gret schedule and hours for a management position. Most weeks are 50 hours a week. No crazy hours.

Cons

Very low pay. Most employees are only paid minium wage and they wounder why there is high turnover. Goodwill is a stepping stone opportunity.
