Thank you for leaving a review. Language access can be far more than transactional. It is not the mere exchange of words, as one would trade one currency for another. When done right, it is transformational, allowing our clients to understand not just what their customers say, but what they mean. After doing an extensive evaluation of our pay in comparison to other employers in our business, we find that our compensation is consistent with the industry. Please note we regularly review industry compensation. If you would like to discuss further, please email interpretercommunications@languageline.com.

Pros

Only good if you need some office based job experience in a corporate environment.

Cons

- Very toxic environment - You will be overworked with very low pay - Micromanaging. Complete lack of support and training. You will be made to feel like a burden and stupid if you ask for help or to be trained - Do not trust management, this company doesn't care about your career progression or mental health. Many people are two faced and will gossip about you behind your back. - Very little diversity of cultures, especially within senior management

Good training

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

They offer 4 or 6 week training for new interpreters

Cons

Ridiculus $16 /h rate with no raises! Very heavy workload. Very corporate approach! I had to take breaks at the specific times and every day it was a different window. You can request schedule change only once per year (regardless of if the request is denied or invalid).
