Pros

It is Fun and satisfying getting to help clients communicate with each other. It’s also pretty cool to work from home. Overall this is a great learning experience and introduction to customer service and other industries such as medical, banking, and social work. I’d say it’s also definitely a good thing to have under your resume.

Cons

In my experience so far about 60% of calls involve dealing with rude customers. This job definitely requires a lot of patience and focus. Sometimes clients will drop paragraphs of information with complicated terminology without stopping and still get upset if you ask for just one repetition. There’s also a couple of technical problems happening with the app that makes understanding what the customers are saying a little challenging, this ranges from static, to just calls cutting off in the middle of sentences, but this doesn’t happen too often.

Pros

Great work schedule Love working from home, that improved my quality of life They do match 4% of contributions to 401k Developed interpreting skills really quick, because calls are back to back. Able to work from different states, need to ask permission before that.

Cons

Just because they had a lot of calls, change work schedule, made people work on their days off and really cause trouble when you have children and family members to attend. Work on Federal Holidays with no additional pay! Not great health insurance. If you don't like
